Apart from the yoga practices, breathing exercise and meditation practice, students will be given health tips by the way of asanas that can have specific healing effects for certain sickness. All tips are very beneficial for students.
Learning by practical and experimental means is best. However, if you have some theatrical knowledge to add to the experiment, you will get better results.
In this retreat, priority will be given to lectures and classes on the subject of pranayama (breathing control - the yogic way), meditation and theory regarding how to do a successful meditation apart from knowing the objective, problem, solution and benefit. Both pranayama and meditation are very helpful for body and mind healing. They are the best therapies. Students will also learn about the proper yogic diet from an Ayurveda class teach by the best Ayurvedic doctor in the area. Participants will benefit from yoga therapy classes, as well as from yoga philosophy; they will have the chance to accumulate knowledge about everyday yoga applications and what are the life benefits of these applications. The chance won't is missed to give students a special pooja (prayer) during the fire ceremony for their good blessing, the removal of the bad energies, to give peace of mind, to remove sorrows and to always remain happy and healthy. Being happy and healthy is the most important treasure in our life. The fire ceremony will last for two hours and will comprise of fire offerings, mantra chanting and flower offerings to the holy river.
During the retreat, students are taught some important mantras chants which can give them happiness and also remove sickness.
At the end of the retreat, students will be entertained with an amazing Indian classical music concert. On the last day, a closing ceremony prayer (Pooja) will be performed and after the fire ceremony, certificates will be given to all participants.

How to reach Om Shanti Om Yoga School

By Air Please book your flight to arrive at Indira Gandhi International Airport (DEL). Transfer from and to this airport is available upon request.
Om Shanti Om Yoga School will send you personal taxi directly to Indira Gandhi International Airport (DEL) to pick up you from the arrival gate. The charges of the taxi are on your own and approximately to US $60 for one way. You also can arrive domestic Dehradun Airport (DED) which is nearer to Rishikesh and a taxi cost is US $15

By Bus (From Delhi to Rishikesh):
After you arrive at the airport, you have the option to take a bus from the Kashmiri Gate Bus Station (ISBT Delhi) to ISBT Rishikesh.
